My Poetry by Randal Cheney

Darkness in my mind

There is Darkness in my mind an empty place were you my son should be, But all there is, Is emptiness that will never be filled again, How I long for you to be here again to take your place and to fill the emptiness once again..

Treasure in my heart

Of all the things I have in this world
you are the one thing that I treasure in my heart.

Love Rules

Only in my heart can love rule, to hold your hand and walk through the woods with a breath of a whisper of love in your ear. The beating of your heart in your breast. A tender kiss on lips so soft, eyes that sparkle like stars in the heavens. A smile that can melt the coldest of hearts. And the warmth you bring to mine. And the sadness I feel when you walk away and the long hours until we meet again. Oh love is so painful and so good at the same time.....

Fall from grace

Has passion gone so wild that love falls from grace and heart beats stop to slow the times of love, Do death part all or just dies in a whisper of a hairs breath.

Wild Love

Wild love the passion the animal of us all, that come out with every one who loves another the pounding of hearts and the breath of passion the sweet of man and the pain of woman.

Sex the act of

Sex the urge that drive man to act.
The urge to mate with another.
To feel flesh to touch there sole.
Sex the drive for life and fulfilment.
To penetrate deep into her to be one with her.

Oh the woods of passion

Oh the woods of passion to walk with your love, hand in hand the grass between your toes and the sun glinting through the trees the sweet smell of bluebells in the wind. The juices of love flowing wild and the passion to come when the time is right, the nakedness of you both rolling in love. And the climax of love at the end the heart beats of love now and forever.

Forbidden love

Love forbidden for two hearts who wants to be as one
Through hail of arrows love do triumphs and hearts now joined forever more

Dark Passions

Dark clouds and hallow grounds the sorrow of hearts and the tears of love as minds go wild as thoughts go astray as feelings sore with a passion of two hearts and the sorrow that follows.
Dark minds and thoughts and all for love wisdom goes and passion comes and the love that haunts ones spirit that never go.

Desperate love

Desperate is the need for love and the touch of one so sweet, Your eyes that sparkle in the twilight of the night, Your voice that echo's in my mind so soft and gentle, My thought are of you and my heart is yours to take, Oh come to me and be mine tonight so sweet the taste of love.

The Green Eyed Monster

Feelings so deep and painful they cut the hearts to shreds.
The green eyed monsters rears it ugly head and bites the heart it feed on.
So painful is love that only the love from you can tame the monster raging heart and so the green eyed monster is tamed at last.

The monster of us all

Jealously the monster of us all.
That snaps and growls at our hearts like a raging dog.
Relentless in it rage as all reason goes from site.
The feelings of regrets and the sorrow of what have I done.

Mans Heart

Oh, if only men could be as strong as the power of love.
To hold and to cherish the one he loves.
But mans heart is only as strong as man and when his heart is broken so is his will to live and so ends man.

Fragile Lives

Fragile is live to fall fowl of death, To be cut down when so young the futures end, And the hallow ground of soles the gathering of sorry and the wiping of tears and all that is left are the memories of life.

Years pass

The years pass and the memories fade the good times gone and the bad time forever remembered love that once live here has now dwindled to a faint glimmer and hearts once full are now a void of love and loneliness has taken its place the dead and the departed are nothing but ghost that haunts the living as time draws near to the end of time...

Dark Place

In the dark places of our mind dwells the thoughts of life and loves the passion and the hatred, The ghost of the dead and the love of the living the hell of us all and the loneliness that haunts us with no relentless or passion to feed upon.

Heartless

Heartless is the cold hard reality of love the pitfalls and the pain, the passion and the sorrow and for what but to hold your love to cares her body and to penetrate her deep flesh to flesh

Beautiful is the Heart

So beautiful is the heart that's beats with love that glows with passion so warms the sole and laughter brings.
When two hearts beat as one and sole mates forever they are, no man can brake the bonds of love that holds so fast.

Fractured heart

Love so full and tender fractured by betrayal and disseat, the sorrow that follows is but a passing of feelings that never was, the cold hard reality of love and the pain as your heart is broken head in hands and so much sorrow the never ending pain that comes with each day of passing the only release is death the final passing of feelings.

Death

Death the hooded figure that walks in the dark shadows of our minds.
The reaper of soles, The ghostly spirit of the dead, The bringer of sorrow and sadness, His touch of death the pain and the madness that he brings to us all and so the reaper of death take your sole.

Secrets and hidden truths

Secrets and hidden truths the dark places of our thoughts.
The lies we tell to hide the truth and the hurt we bring when the truth well out.
Governments full and people die all for secrets that we mustn't tell.
We can't tell, We shouldn't tell, But we must tell.
Death awaits us all if we tell.

The Red Kite

The Red Kite so graceful in flight as it loops the loop with wings of skill and daring, with talons as sharp and deadly barring down to kill.

The Misfire of the Mind

The mind so fantastic and complex thoughts of wonder and creativity.
The consciences of life and the will to survive the thoughts of wisdom and love.
All can be turned into turmoil with a imbalance of chemicals.
The confusion and the thoughts so mix they have no meaning of place.
The passion so locked away.

Friendships

Friendships the union of two people who feels for each other with a love that isn't love but a bond of companionship that will last for ever.
Friends that go through all ills and pains to comfort each other to care and to cherish to love and to be there for one another.
Friends for ever in life and in spirit.

Mans best friends

It is a beast of claws and teeth that befriends man.
The humble canine known as dog.
The four legged friend who love to be love.
Tail wagging full of joy, the bark of happiness.
And a tong that licks everywhere then lick you.
Dog, Mans best friend.

Dark Thoughts

Deep in your mind where the dark thoughts lurk.
Thoughts of depression and death linger.
The thoughts of insanity.

Lonely Heart by a Lonely Heart

Lonely hearts in a world were every body is in such a rush to go from one place to another you would never believe that you could be in a room fall of people and yet be so alone that you feel like you’re invisible to them all.
I have felt just like this recently when your world becomes so lonely that you seek comfort in the wide open spaces of the country side to camouflage the fact that you are alone, just your own thoughts to keep you company and the sounds of the wildlife who seems to be your best friends as your own kind don’t seem to give a dam, But a human being can not live like this we need companionship we need some one to love, some one to cherish and to hold otherwise what is the point of carrying on with the so call life, I have never thought of suicide but I understand how this can be a way out of loneliness but to make the decision to do the deed is not an easy one to take your live, an act of a few minutes that will last an eternity seems to much to ask for, and not worth the heart ach it would cost others if you had other that would care that is.
So the heart ach of loneliness will carry on and despite good intentions of others that say one thing and then do another that just makes it worse, and so life gets worse and one day relief will come in death whether it an act of suicide of old age relief will come and your spirit will be as one with other who have once felt like I feel now.
I think I understand life were some have it all and others have only them selves to be one with I was in love once but now that has gone and all I have is an empty heart were love once filled, and when I think of my life I don’t see any future and the only happiness I have other keep interfering and making it impossible to fined the love that could be there as her smile warms my heart a feeling that I haven’t felt for so many years her touch so soft and a sparkle in her eyes when she smiles the passion that could be released if given a chance.
But the odds are stack against us like a fix roulette wheel in a casino where other pull the strings and you take your chance but a chance is always worth taking as you mite win and then the other lose and the sorrow that was yours become happiness and life then seems worth it again and so I carry on.

Fly tipping in and around Aylesbury

With the ever increasingly rise in fly tipping in and around the Aylesbury Vale it’s a shame that there wasn’t an incentive for the public to report theses people, I read that in some countries they have a reward system set up for anybody who reports people who fly tip also it is only a small reward it’s a shame that they don’t do the same in the UK as I believe more members of the public would report more of what they see instead of turning a blind eye to it like some do.
As I was coming up a lane I saw a pile of building rubble and house hold waist in and out side of a garage at the end of stone haven road in Aylesbury, who ever it is that uses this garage has no respect for the area or for the safety of the children that use the lane on a daily bases nor for the wildlife that roam about, apart from the rats that is, As they will love to be around here.
This is now a dangerous place to be for any one as you have no idea what lays under the old smelly carpet, anything from rodents to sharp objects to containers of possible poisons in the garage.
This will not be here long as the AVDC are very quick at tidying up after theses people once they have been informed of the mess, We can be very grateful for this as if it wasn’t fore there quick action Aylesbury would be a messy place so thanks to the AVDC for your good work.
Aylesbury is a lovely place so lets try and keep it like it.

The Rural Village of Harwick Nr. Aylesbury

Just a short stroll down memory lane.

The village of Hardwick holds fond memories for me as a child I use to come here to see a friend and today brought back memories that I had forgotten long ago but to walk around the village again after all theases years made me think of all the fun we use to have along with his two sisters when children played as children messing around in the burn jumping out of the hay loft on to the hay, I went to have a look at the burn were we use to play but it was no longer there, pulled down long ago but the church was still the same as ever with its hedge row going around it and the old stone slabs steps that leads down to the field.
The church is old just how old I really have no idear but I do know that it was about when the civil war was raging as the men who fell during the battle had been berried here as with all theses old churchs they have been about for so long that they must hold lots of secrets of the past and if only the could tell you what they have seen over the centuries of time.
A different view of the church showing how well the cemetary is kept looking so nice showing the residents take such care of there church yard.

As you take the footpath behind the church you walk past a farm just the other side of the wall from the church and the very proud ruster that struts about letting every one know that its the boss.

Quarrendon Village & ST.Peters Church Ruins

Lost History of Aylesbury

Lost history of Aylesbury as many of us have heard over the last year or so that to the north of Aylesbury are the ruings of the old St. Peter's church now to many people theses are just bits of old stone and can't see the point in worrying about them.
But they mean more to us than just bits of old stone its part of our history and without history we will forget about the ways things use to be all thoses years ago.
The ruings that are to the north of Aylesbury are the only ruing we have in the Aylesbury area they are as old or even older than st.Mary's church in the town its self and that has been about since the 17 century so you could emagine how old they are it would be a very big shame if they were to be built over and forgoten but now I believe the local council are going to protect them, But we shell see.
As you walk across the fields to the ruins you will see the earth works of Quarrendon village that was the seen of a battle during the civil war with cromwell after that the font that was in the church was moved to Aylesbury is the same one that is in St.Mary's church in the town.
But the church is not the ony thing you have to take into account with this as the land around the ruings are also very alive with wildlife
Here is just one of the lovely sites you can see fall of life in the summer this is teamming with nature from birds to Nutes and frogs aslo fox's and deer in the surrounding area.
Toady when I was taking theses photographs I saw a lovely fox witch made me feel really good as its not often we see sites like this living in the town but if you have the opertunity to have a walk over to the ruings then go for it as in the summer month it is well worth the trip being able to see the hairs running away from you.

Here is another beautiful site as there are so many of them around here it is unbelievable lets hope we get to see more of them.

This dramactic picture was taken just where the Quarrendon Village use to stand.

The vedio is from a mobil phone so the picture quality is not that good but it give you an idea of the area by the ruings witch are only about 150 yards from this spot.

Aylesbury Town 2009

Welcome to Aylesbury

First a bit of old history that I read out of a book about a year ago.

Our town of Aylesbury started its life as a saxon settlement called Aegel's burgh. Burgh is a Saxon word that means fortified settlement. it was no more than a large village with only a few hundred people living here at the time. Aylesbury remained a large village for a very long time about two hundred years, The town made their living from farming but Aylesbury was an administrative centre as well because of its weekly market it had as a focal point for the surrounding villages and farmers who brought there produce into the market.

........................................................................

But the Aylesbury we know today is very diferent from what it was about thirty years ago as it was still a lovely market town were people could come and they woud go away saying how nice it is but with resent progress well thats what they call it but in my apinion I think they have taken a nice market town and for greed they have made it into an eye sore.

But there are still some places were you can still see some of what Aylesbury use to look like this photo of the old houses just down from the St. Mary's Charch is what a lot of them use to look like.

In the town centre is the old market square but the cattle market witch we don't have any more use to be behind the arches next to the crown court building this photo shows the square from the court end here you can see the clock this has been a centre point for many years and the local council have cleaned the clock and made it look very nice.

Water mead lake

I have to admit one thing.
I may not like some of the building work thats going on around Aylesbury but they have made a nice lake area call watermead lake and in on the buckinghame road just out side of town but the wildlife on there if wonderfull its a bit messy in places but its not an easy place to keep tidy as there is a housing astate next to it but what you get on the lake makes up for the rest and as I'm a keen photographer of wildlife it one of the best places to go for water birds.

If you click on the photos you can enjoy the views of the lake.

When the lake was first made they had water sports on there but the ressidence complaned about the noise and the jet bout and speed bouts were stopped.
After that it wasn't long before the wildlife started to get on there and the lake became a lovely place to visit and in the summer it's an amassing place specialy at night when it comes alive with other wildlife such as foxes rabits and badgers.

ST. Mary's Church

As early as the 7th century a church has stood here, may not have looked like this then and over the many years it has had work carried out on it to bring it up to what you see to day, Its has always been a popular church in town as it look the part with all it nice stone work witch must have taken a lot of work and skill to produce such a magnificent building and the way it stands there so gracefully looking over the town being on the highest point in town and throughout the year with the different times of the year it changes so much and the inside is just as good as you can see from this photo the the inside.

One of the nices part of Aylesbury is the grand union canel that run into Aylesbury, Built at the end 18th century it increase the work in the area it was use to suply the factories that use to be along side the canel the last of them being the soup factory witch has ben pulled down to buold blocks of flats.

The tall building in the back ground is the county offices over 250 feet high holds fond memories for me as I absailed down the side of it for charity I only raised about £150 but as they say every little helps but was a good view and something I would like to do agan if and when I get another chanch.

In the basen we can see a number of narrow bouts all very lovely and well maintained as the ownners take great pride in their bouts the same as we do in our houses.

Aylesbury has got some real lovely places, like the Kings Head hotel witch is a few hundred years old and with its own courtyard were the horses use to be kept in the stables that run around the courtyard, and they also have a ghost that roams around the bedrooms at night.
They have a tea shop and a selection of books that you can read there while you drink your tea or coffee.

Diabled Parking in Aylesbury

I really fine it hard to beleave that a town like Aylesbury that has a worlds famous hospitals for the disabled has one of the worse disabled parking, It doesn’t matter were you go you see taxis and people parking in the disabled spaces the worse for this is the taxis they seem to park anywhere they want and the traffic wardens don’t seem to do anything about it or do they get special permission from the local council to exempt them from prosecution.

The ruling is for anyone who doesn’t know is that a taxi has no right to park in a disable parking space unless it has a blue disabled badge in it. If you have trouble with anything like this just right down the Reg of the vehicle and the taxi plate number and report it to the taxi licensing office at the AVDC web site.
The phone number is 01296 585509 and the email address is licensing@aylesburyvaledc.gov.uk

Remember Disable Parking is for Disable people.
